Please make sure easy and comfortable access to the Tompkins County Public Library is one of your top concerns. Currently the buses lining the street in front of the library is counter-productive to the idea of coming to TCPL. A good majority of our community happen to be senior citizens and we want easy access. Downtown Ithaca is currently a maze, what with detours and construction.......I will go elsewhere to spend my time and money if need be, and so will many others. Downtown Green Street is NOT the place for a bus garage. The Common Council needs to work very hard to treat TCPL and its patrons fairly. The situation right now is not fair.
Thank you.

Many people are out walking on quiet streets like Linn St, which makes it difficult to social distance. This is especially the case for me, as I try to take my 86 year old mother-in-law for a walk each day--the only real life human contact she has. She does not hear cars well if in the street and does not always notice people walking toward her on the sidewalk. Thank you
