The City Clerk's Office issues sporting licenses under the regulations of the New York StateDepartment of Environmental Conservation (DEC).

To apply for a hunting or fishing license, please bring proof of New York State residency, if applicable, and your hunter education certificate to the City Clerk’s Office, 108 E. Green Street, Ithaca, New York 14850 between 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, Monday - Friday.

Sporting licenses are valid from October 1 to September 30.
