To obtain bid documents for advertised projects, you must:

  • Download and print the bid document.
  • Attend the required pre-bid meeting, if one is scheduled.
  • Fill in the required portions of the bid document, including the bid proposal and non-collusion certification.
  • Attach required submittals to the bid proposal.
  • Sign the bid proposal.
  • Submit the bid proposal by the Bid Opening Date indicated. ** If you would like to be listed as a Plan Holder, please notify the Project Manager listed in the project description. **

Note: It is the Contractor's responsibility to check this Bids page for all Addenda posted. All Addenda for advertised projects will be posted in the Addenda Column on this page, no later than two (2) business days prior to the Bid Opening Date.

Multi-Space Parking Pay Station Equipment

The City of Ithaca, New York is requesting sealed bids for the purchase and installation of solar powered, multi-space pay system for on street parking, with the capability of accepting coins, bills, credit cards, web payments and smart cards.

Route 13 Pedestrian Crossing Improvements at Dey Street and Third Street Project

The proposed project contains two pedestrian connections across NYS Route 13 from residential neighborhoods in the City of Ithaca to the Farmers Market and Cayuga Waterfront Trail.  One connection begins with improving the pedestrian road crossings along Third Street at the Franklin Street and NYS Route 13 intersections followed by a shared-use path and sidewalk along Third Street, terminating at the Farmers Market trailhead for the Cayuga Waterfront Trail.  The other connection begins with improving the pedestrian crossing at the NYS Route 13 and Dey/Willow Street intersection followed by both a shared-use path along Willow Street, terminating at the Cayuga Waterfront Trail along Willow Street, and a connection from the intersection to Lincoln Street.  Both connections include at-grade crossings with an active Norfolk Southern Railroad track (work across railroad tracks to be completed by others).   This project is a Unit Price contract including a Base Bid.

A Pre-Bid Meeting has been scheduled for December 2, 2014 at 11:00 AM in the second floor conference room of City Hall, 108 East Green Street.  All potential bidders are encouraged to attend; attendance is not mandatory.

Cayuga Waterfront Trail - Phase 2, PIN 3950.47

The proposed project is the construction of approximately 2 miles of an 8-12’ wide asphalt/concrete multi-use trail between Cass Park and the Ithaca Farmers Market in the City of Ithaca, New York.  The project will include an asphalt/concrete trail, a new trail bridge, modification of a vehicular bridge, a culvert, landscaping, curb ramps, concrete sidewalks, and various site amenities.  This project is a Unit Price contract including a Base Bid plus one (1) Deduct Alternate and six (6) Add Alternates.

A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held on Monday, November 24, 2014 at 11:00 A.M.  Said meeting will be held at the Common Council chambers (third floor) of City Hall, 108 East Green Street, Ithaca, NY, 14850.  All potential bidders are encouraged to attend; however attendance is not mandatory.
