Tompkins County Mitigation Planning Partnership Requests Public Input
The draft of the 2021 Tompkins County Hazard Mitigation Plan (HMP) is now available for public review and comment. Following the public review and update, approval of the HMP will allow the County and all participating jurisdictions to remain eligible for future pre-disaster FEMA funding.
Tompkins County is now asking members of the public to contribute further to the planning process by reviewing the draft Plan and providing feedback and comments. The public comment period will remain open until April 30th, 2021. The full, updated HMP is available for public review and comment at the Tompkins County Department of Planning Sustainability website at https://www2.tompkinscountyny.gov/planning/climate-adaptation.
All feedback provided will be reviewed by municipal, state, federal and county entities, and incorporated, where appropriate. Please visit https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/Tompkins2021HMPReview to comment on the Plan.
