The City of Ithaca will be closing the 100 block of N Aurora Street (between E State Street and E Seneca Street) to vehicular traffic, starting on Thursday, June 25th.
The closure will enable restaurants to expand their outdoor seating for a trial period of one month. During the closure, an ADA accessible pedestrian path will be maintained in the street between E State Street and E Seneca Street.
Northbound traffic on N Aurora Street will be rerouted to E State Street, Seneca Way and E Seneca Street. Westbound traffic on E State Street will be rerouted to E Seneca Street. Paid parking will be temporarily suspended in front of 211-215 E Seneca Street to support an expanded loading zone and temporary pick-up/drop-off zone.
