Construction Update: 300 Block South Titus Ave- NYSEG Utility Work

PROJECT LOCATION: Southside neighborhood ongoing; 300 Block of South Titus Ave, between South Albany Street and South Plain Street

PROJECT START DATE: Ongoing; Tuesday, July 2, 2019

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The DDS Companies will install new gas mains and service connections in the project area.

LOCAL IMPACTS: The road will be closed in the 300 block of South Titus Street. Traffic will be detoured around this block, resident and emergency vehicle access will be maintained. Expected duration of this closure is 2 weeks.

DETOURS IN PLACE: Detours to adjacent streets will be in effective while the closure is in place.

PARKING RESTRICTIONS: Approximately 10 parking spaces adjacent to the active work zone could be removed from public use. Construction operations and material storage will occupy some parking spaces on the affected streets.

PLEASE NOTE: Construction, by nature, is subject to constant change, inclement weather, and unexpected findings. City of Ithaca will be meeting with DDS Companies and NYSEG regularly.
