Construction Update Revision- 200 Block of Dryden Road

PROJECT NAME: Install new Fire Hydrant vicinity 232-236 Dryden Road & Summit Ave.

PROJECT LOCATION: 200 Block of Dryden Road, nearest intersecting streets are Bryant Ave. to the west and Elmwood Ave. to the east.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION:   Install new Fire Hydrant vicinity 232-236 Dryden Road

PROJECT START DATE: Monday, August 13, 2018, at 7:30 AM

SCHEDULED COMPLETION DATE / ANTICIPATED COMPLETION TIME: Wednesday, August 15, 2018, at 3:30 PM

LOCAL IMPACTS: Excavation from the center of the street to the north side of the sidewalk to install a new 6-inch pipe from the water main, and a new fire hydrant. Excavation across west (downhill) bound lane of the street to install 6-inch diameter fire hydrant line. The 200-Block of Dryden Road will be closed for through traffic from the intersection of Bryant Avenue east to the intersection of Elmwood Avenue for the duration of the work.

RECOMMENDED DETOURS: To avoid delays westbound traffic on Dryden Road to take Ithaca Road (Rt. 366) to Mitchell Street to College Avenue back to Dryden Road.

Eastbound traffic on Dryden Road to take College Avenue to Mitchell Street to Ithaca Road (Rt. 366) back to Dryden Road.
