Volunteering & Community Service at GIAC

GIAC - A Place to Be You
Have some time to spare? Interested in fun, engaging, educational and culturally uplifting programs? Like working with all ages in a multicultural setting? Need to complete community service hours in a supportive environment? How about getting meaningful service learning credits?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then GIAC is the place for you.

Volunteer and community service opportunities are available in our Youth Program (Pre-K through 12th grade), out Teen Program (6th through young adults), our Adult Program (seniors, 60 years and older), our Recreation Program (boxing, pool, basketball leagues), our computer lab, or other general opportunities.

You can be an academic tutor, a kickball game organizer, join the fabulous custodial team, read to the participants, help with the movie, web design, cooking or gardening clubs, assist a senior with their golf swing, paint fabulous graffiti art, chaperone a group to Johnson Art Museum, sing along with the choir, or bring your own program idea for development and implementation. Opportunities are endless.

Volunteers make a huge difference to the success of our programs and the families we serve. We hope you will join our GIAC family and enjoy some wonderful GIAC days!
